BSc project of Kevin Klein won Open Hardware 2024 Award

Student Kevin Klein won the Open Hardware 2024 Award in the category “Student Level” for his project “Deep zoom Mandelbulb on FPGAs”. The award comes with a €2000 cash prize. The project showed how FPGAs can greatly outperform GPUs for high-quality raymarching.
