Prof. Lorenzo Masia from ZITI's Biorobotics & Medical Technology Group will be General Chair of the next edition of the IEEE Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics hosted at Heidelberg University in 2024. It is the leading conference in the field of Biorobotics. We're looking forward to it!
Great success for Lorenzo Masia's Biorobotics & Medical Technology group: at IEEE BIOROB 2022, no less than 2 papers from the group made it to the final selection for awards. The paper "Enhancing Gait Assistance Control Robustness of a Hip Exosuit by Means of Machine Learning" by Zhang X*, Tricomi E*, Missiroli F, Lotti L, Bokranz B, Nicklas D, and Masia L. was a finalist for the IEEE Robotics and Automation Letter (RAL) award at IEEE BIOROB2022. Elisa Galofaro won the Best Paper Award with "A Hybrid Assistive Paradigm based on Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation and Force Control for Upper Limb Exosuits" (Galofaro E, D'Antonio E, Lotti N, and Masia L.). Congratulations!

Members of ZITI's Computing Systems Group are local arrangement chairs for the renowned IEEE CLUSTER conference, which takes place in Heidelberg from Sept 6 to 9. The conference includes multiple workshops and tutorials, parallel conference sessions, a poster session and various social events in the vicinity of Heidelberg’s Old City.
