Exchange Program Application
Interested students may apply for a spot at one of the universities through the Erasmus coordinator at the Institute of Computer Engineering, Dr. Alexander Schubert. The application deadline for the Winter Semester 2026/27 and the Summer Semester 2027 is Monday, February 2, 2026.
Please use the email address erasmus@ziti.uni-heidelberg.de and submit the following documents, preferably in a single PDF file:
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form, e.g., Europass
- Information on language proficiency in accordance with the Common European Framework of References
- List of academic achievements to date
- Short explanation of your study plans in English
- An overview of the courses you wish to take at the host universities, including, if possible, the corresponding course descriptions from the partner university
- Information regarding other financial aid (e.g., BAföG)
Multiple stays are possible. An ERASMUS stay during the bachelor’s program does not preclude a stay during the master’s program or as part of the doctoral phase.
Students with children and students with a degree of disability (GdB) of at least 50 have the option of applying for additional financial support through the ERASMUS program to cover other incurred costs. For further information, please contact Ms. Braye at the Dezernat Internationale Beziehungen.
Students from other disciplines may apply as non-majors if applicable. Please contact us well in advance of the application deadline.
